Dragon's Aid — Privacy Policy
Dragon's Aid is a read-only timer overlay for tracking boss spawns and dungeon cooldowns. This policy covers both the desktop application (distributed via the Microsoft Store) and the in-browser web demo at dragonsaid.com.
The short version
Dragon's Aid collects no data about you. It has no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. The only network request it makes is a read-only download of the public events calendar — it sends nothing about you.
Information we collect
None. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information, usage data, or device identifiers.
Data stored on your device
Your configuration — boss list, timer settings, and the cooldown catalog — is
saved locally on your own device (on the desktop app, in its
local application data; in the web demo, in your browser's localStorage).
This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us or anyone else. You can
clear it at any time by resetting the app or clearing your browser storage.
Network and third parties
Dragon's Aid makes a single outbound request: a read-only fetch of the public
events calendar (a static events.json file) so event dates stay
current. It only downloads that public file — it sends no personal data, identifiers, or
usage, and no information about you is shared with any third party. No other connections
are made. We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Children's privacy
Because Dragon's Aid collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
